Wow, it has been a loooong time since I have done a mini-journal.  Well, the summer has started, academics have calmed down (although they're not over), and I want to get back to the creativity/reflection I've been neglecting.

This week I started working full-time for the summer, which has been great.  I actually prefer a regular 9-5 schedule to working part-time and doing classes part-time.  I think the routine works well for me.  I feel like I can get more done, and dive deeper into projects.

Yesterday I led a few activities at a retreat.  It was really nice.  We went to a beautiful retreat center, and the group was very engaged and very reflective.  I enjoy the chance to lead those kinds of sessions.

Next week I'm doing a workshop on assessment for another group.  I'm excited about that as well.  I've been doing research about assessment, so I think I have some good material to share.  I'm always a little nervous the first time I lead a new workshop, but it should be interesting...
