Happy Monday!

Today we had the MACC holiday lunch.  It was nice to get together.  I did that, then a quick bit of work on the VISTA reporting, then came home to work on my Philosophy paper.

My Philosophy paper is due tomorrow, and my Reflective Practice stuff is due by Friday.  It should be doable, but I have a lot left to do.

I've been slow to get started, but I'm excited about both assignments.  The Philosophy piece is a thinking piece, and I'm going to connect it to civic engagement.  The Reflective Practice Pieces are (surprise) reflective, and I think they'll be a nice way to end the semester.

I'm hoping to take Reflective Practice again next semester.  I'm not sure if I should spend the money, but I think it's a really nice complement to class, heck, I think everyone should take it every semester...it's a great way to make sure you have time to reflect...

On a side note, I recently discovered the Avenue Q soundtrack, and it's super fun.  It's a musical, a sort of Sesame Street for adults, based in New York.  I don't know what the show is actually like, but some of the songs are really fun.

Oh, at the lunch today, we exchanged secret snow monster gifts.  I had Dana and gave her a gift certificate for Diet Coke.  Kate had me, and gave me a Rite Aid gift card and two pens.  It was really nice.
